A beauty queen who gives herself like never before. Sylvie Tellier celebrates her 46th birthday today, Tuesday May 28, 2024. A special event this year for the forty-year-old who chose to mark the occasion by revealing her story.
From Miss Vendée to Miss Lyon, until her coronation as Miss France 2002, Sylvie Tellier experienced a meteoric rise in beauty pageants. After giving up her place at the head of the Miss France company, she looks back on her career in her autobiography Couronne et préventions, published by Fayard. A book in which she recounts her career, her relationship with Geneviève de Fontenay and her modest childhood. “I had never told it. My sisters haven’t read it yet. We are quite modest about this story,” she explains to Le Parisien.
A native of Les Sables d’Olonne, this Vendéenne was raised by her mother Annick with her sisters Stéphanie and Anne-Sophie. The first is now a saleswoman while the second is a beekeeper and both live in Switzerland. Sylvie Tellier also has a half-sister Delphine, who currently lives with actor Jean-Pascal Lacoste, revealed in the first season of Star Academy.
“She’s the daughter that my father had with his second wife. My parents divorced when I was only 11 years old and they both rebuilt their lives,” Sylvie Tellier revealed to her subscribers in an Instagram story , in August 2022, cited by Femme Actuelle. Are they still close despite the rumors of disagreement? The honorary president of Miss France, however, sent her congratulations on the birth of her daughter. “I wish Delphine a lot of happiness, because I read in the press that she had a granddaughter a few months ago.”
The one who succeeded Élodie Gossuin also experienced the joys of motherhood. From her first marriage to Camille Le Maux, Sylvie Tellier gave birth to their son Oscar in 2010. After their divorce two years later, she found happiness again with her partner Laurent. They have a daughter, Margaux, born in 2014, and Roméo born in 2018.
After their marriage in 2017, Sylvie Tellier and her husband formed a happy blended family and shared many moments together. “We meet very often at my mother’s house, who lives near the market. We also leave the children with her from time to time during part of the school holidays and everyone is delighted,” she confided last August at Gala, of which she made the cover with her clan.
