Path of Exile 2 Reveals Early Access Launch Window and Exciting Features – State of Play 2024
Path of Exile 2 made a splash during Sony’s May 2024 State of Play presentation, announcing an early access release window set for late 2024. The highly anticipated dungeon crawler from developer Grinding Gear Games showcased new console features and gameplay details that have players buzzing with excitement.
Among the exciting reveals in the State of Play presentation were plans for couch co-op, cross-play, cross-progression, and the introduction of twisted new creatures to challenge players. With promises of 12 character classes, a new Skill Gem system boasting 240 Skill Gems and 200 Support Gems, as well as 700 equipment base types, Path of Exile 2 is shaping up to be a robust and engaging gaming experience.
