Yesterday’s Sony State of Play event unveiled some exciting new games that will be making their way to PC in the near future. One of the standout titles is Infinity Nikki, a full-fledged console follow-up to the popular mobile dress-up game series. With a tagline of “It’s glam time any time!”, Infinity Nikki promises players an open-world fashion adventure that will take them through multiple nations, each with its own unique culture and history. The game will be coming to PC alongside its PS4 and PS5 debut, although a specific release date has not been announced.
Another game showcased during the event was Ballad of Antara, a new action RPG where players will take on the roles of multiple characters with their own classes, abilities, and stories. One of the characters will be tasked with carrying a child on their back, embarking on a quest to undo the devastation in a desolate world. The game, built on Unreal Engine 5, is set to release in 2025 and promises a visually stunning and immersive experience for RPG fans.
These PC releases from Sony are part of a growing trend of the PlayStation maker expanding its presence on the platform. Alongside Infinity Nikki and Ballad of Antara, Sony also announced that God of War Ragnarök will be coming to PC in September, and their upcoming multiplayer shooter, Concord, will be available in August. While these games may not involve magical powers through fashion choices, they offer a diverse range of gameplay experiences for PC gamers to look forward to.
