Bad Säckingen (dpa / lsw) – A drunk 33-year-old attacked an ambulance called for him in Bad Säckingen (Waldshut district). As the police announced on Monday, the man screamed and rioted half-naked on the street on Saturday evening. When the ambulance arrived, he reportedly kicked the vehicle and threw a bottle. According to the officials, the man calmed down after the police arrived, saying he had been taken into custody. The ambulance crew locked themselves in as a precaution during the incident. A breath alcohol test showed a value of around 1.2 per thousand. The man stated that he had been attacked and that he was slightly injured. The ambulance caused damage of around 3,000 euros.
