Baden-Württemberg: Carport collapses on the car: the driver dies

Titisee-Neustadt (dpa / lsw) – A woman crashed her car into a carport and died. The 73-year-old had initially left the road in Titisee-Neustadt (Breisgau-Hochschwarzwald district), the police said on Saturday. She brushed against two parked cars and then drove into the vehicle shelter. This partially collapsed over the car, the woman was trapped. After unsuccessful resuscitation, an emergency doctor could only determine the death of the driver. According to the police, the cause of the accident on Friday evening is still unclear – but it cannot be ruled out that the woman got off the road in the first place because of a medical problem.
