What has been speculated about for a long time is now official. The relationship between Stefan Mross and Anna-Carina Woitschack has no future. They continue to have a warm connection to each other, they say. For the 46-year-old it is already the third marriage.
Stefan Mross and his wife Anna-Carina Woitschack have announced their separation. “Life has had many challenges for us lately, too many,” they wrote in a joint Instagram post. After countless “speculations” recently, they now wanted to tell their truth, the statement from the two hit stars continued.
The two continue to write about a couple picture in black and white: “If one can say, ‘In good times and in bad’ then we.” They had a “beautiful and crazy time”, “fighted us through many a storm and can still look lovingly into our eyes”. They are separate and yet together, “individuals and still a unit. Soul mates and now everyone goes their own way.” Mross, 46, and Woitschack, 30, asked to refrain from further speculation to protect their privacy.
The couple married live on TV in June 2020 – on the ARD program “Schlagerlovestory.2020 – The big reunion”. About seven months earlier he had proposed to her in another hit show. Both programs were moderated by Florian Silbereisen, who also acted as best man.
Since 2005, trumpeter and singer Mross has moderated the hit show “Always Again on Sundays”. He and Woitschack also got to know each other on this show. The music show always reaches an audience of millions.
This is the third marriage for the 46-year-old to fail. From 2006 to 2012 he was married to pop singer Stefanie Hertel. For a long time, the two were considered the dream couple of the scene. Both have a daughter together. Mross was then remarried from 2013 to 2016. The couple had three children.
