Dresden (dpa / sn) – Hundreds of refugees are to be housed in Exhibition Hall 4 in Dresden in the future. From Monday (November 14) the hall will be used as temporary accommodation for up to 550 people, the city announced on Thursday. Men traveling alone from Syria, Afghanistan and Venezuela, among others, are to be accommodated in the demarcated living areas until the beginning of January and later move to other accommodations.

This interim solution is necessary because the urban quarters for asylum seekers are being stretched to capacity due to the increasing number of allocations, it said. Meanwhile, the search for further refugee accommodation is in full swing.
