Günzerode (dpa/th) – In Günzerode in the district of Nordhausen, a fire in a single-family house caused damage of 120,000 euros. The residents’ pets, a cat and two birds, also died in the fire, police said on Wednesday morning. According to the police, the flames spread from an adjacent power distribution box to the family home on Tuesday afternoon. The fire brigade was on site with 61 emergency services. people were not injured.
