Mintraching (dpa / lby) – After damage to an overhead line, a railway line in the Regensburg district is completely passable again. The route between Obertraubling and Sünching has been free again since six o’clock, said a spokesman for the railway on Wednesday. According to the police, the section was closed on Tuesday evening because a sugar beet harvester had torn down an overhead line at a level crossing in Mintraching (Regensburg district).

It was said that the machine’s unloading elevator had been forgotten, which meant that the harvester was more than four meters high. There were several short circuits on the route, and the fire brigade evacuated a train with around 80 passengers. Nobody got hurt.
