Neumarkt in der Oberpfalz (dpa/lby) – After a semi-trailer truck crashed into a protective wall on the A3 near Neumarkt, the motorway in the direction of Passau was closed for several hours. The truck drove into the wall at the beginning of a construction site on Monday morning, the police said. The driver was not injured, the protective wall was damaged over a length of about 1000 meters. According to initial findings, the truck driver is said to have caused the accident through carelessness.
