Dresden (dpa/sn) – A 48-year-old excavator driver was trapped in his vehicle in a work accident in Dresden and seriously injured. According to the Dresden fire brigade, he fell with his excavator on Monday morning in the Niedersedlitz district for reasons that have not yet been clarified while working on Göppersdorfer Weg. 40 emergency services from the fire brigade secured the vehicle during the rescue and thus prevented it from slipping further into the excavation pit. The 48-year-old was freed from his excavator and immediately taken to a hospital.
