Neustadt (dpa/lhe) – A pedestrian was hit by a car in Neustadt (Marburg-Biedenkopf district) and seriously injured. The 44-year-old man was taken to the hospital on Thursday evening, a police spokesman said on Friday. According to initial findings, he was drunk and wanted to cross the street. The 21-year-old driver braked, but was unable to prevent a collision. He was unharmed.
