Kulmbach (dpa / lby) – A number of beer crates fell on the road in Kulmbach when driving through a curve from a trailer truck. A total of 150 boxes broke through the side of the truck when driving onto a federal highway on Wednesday evening, the police said on Friday night. The load was insufficiently secured and the 55-year-old driver probably drove too fast, it said. The numerous bottles and shards were removed. Fortunately none of the beer was lost – the bottles were empty.
