Dresden (dpa/sn) – The State Audit Office of Saxony will present the second volume of this year’s annual report on Thursday (10.30 a.m.) in Dresden. The auditors take a critical look at the implementation of the budget and the expenditure of the state administration. The inspectors expect more timeliness from the division into two volumes. The first volume was presented in July – it warned of an excessive double budget for the years 2023/24. With their work, the auditors want to point out grievances and remind people to use budget funds sparingly. The report will be presented by agency chief Jens Michel and colleagues.
