The summer of 2023 continues to break heat records. Wednesday August 23 is the hottest day ever recorded after August 15 in France, with a national thermal indicator of 27.5°C, Météo-France announced on Thursday August 24. The record was held by the previous two days.
“We are on a series of three hottest days recorded after August 15 across France,” said Lauriane Batté, climatologist at the public establishment.
