Konstanz (dpa / lsw) – During a check at the Konstanz-Autobahn border crossing, police officers caught a driver’s license offender with four open arrest warrants. The 40-year-old was taken to prison, the police said on Wednesday. The district court in Karlsruhe had sentenced the man to a total of 194 days in prison for driving without a license and deprivation of liberty. In addition, there was a notice of enforcement by the public prosecutor’s office in Freiburg and a pre-trial arrest warrant from the district court in Karlsruhe, also because he had been driving without a driver’s license.
