Wurmsham (dpa / lby) – In an accident in Lower Bavaria, a pedestrian was hit by a car and died. According to the police, the 74-year-old man was on Sunday with his dog on the side of a country road near Wurmsham (Landshut district). Behind a knoll the leashed animal ran onto the street. When the senior entered the roadway, a 22-year-old car driver caught him. As a result of the collision, the 74-year-old was thrown into a field and suffered fatal injuries. The driver suffered a shock, his passenger was uninjured.
