Schömberg (dpa / lsw) – A group of wild boar caused a rear-end collision with nine injured in the Zollernalb district. According to the police, an 18-year-old driver was able to avoid a collision with the animals by emergency braking on Saturday night. An 18-year-old in the car behind recognized this and was able to stop in time. But the 19-year-old driver of a third car didn’t succeed – he drove up and pushed the other vehicles into each other.

The man and a passenger of the same age in the front car were seriously injured. Like the other injured, they were taken to hospital between the ages of 16 and 20. While the accident was being recorded and the vehicles were being recovered, the police completely blocked federal highway 27 near Schömberg for almost two hours.
