Gelsenkirchen (dpa / lnw) – At a meeting of the tuner scene, strangers set off firecrackers in a supermarket in Gelsenkirchen. Local residents complained to the police, who ended the meeting in the Erle district on Friday evening, a spokesman said on Saturday. At the peak there were up to 250 vehicles in the parking lot. The police appeared with about 25 officers, including emergency services from Bochum. The police officers asked the participants of the meeting to leave the parking lot via loudspeaker – the drivers complied.
