Bad Dürrenberg (dpa/sa) – Two people died in a traffic accident on Autobahn 9. On Wednesday afternoon, they drove a small van between the Bad Dürrenberg and Leipzig-West junctions to a truck at the end of a traffic jam, the police said. The driver and passenger died on the spot. The truck driver was not injured. No further information was initially available on the exact cause of the accident. The Autobahn was initially blocked in the direction of Berlin on Wednesday afternoon.
