Heimsheim (dpa / lsw) – A vehicle caught fire in an accident on Autobahn 8 near Heimsheim (Enzkreis). A human was injured. The Autobahn in the direction of Stuttgart had to be closed on Tuesday, according to a police spokesman. According to initial findings, the burning vehicle was a small van that had hit a trailer truck at the end of a traffic jam. A rescue helicopter took the injured to a hospital. Both vehicles had to be towed. The extent of the damage was initially unknown.
