Dortmund (dpa / lnw) – An S-Bahn in Dortmund crashed into an e-scooter that unknown people threw onto the tracks. The S4 line had to be closed afterwards. The train driver alerted the federal police after the collision on Monday evening, the officials said on Tuesday. They found the completely destroyed rental scooter under the train, which was also damaged. The investigators are now hoping that recordings from a surveillance camera will lead to the perpetrators. A total of nine trains were affected by the route closure, the police said.
