Bernburg (dpa/sa) – The police stopped a seven-year-old boy on a quad in Bernburg (Salzlandkreis) on Saturday and handed him over to his parents. As the police announced on Sunday, the boy was traveling on a road with the quad and a trailer. “He had leaves loaded in the trailer,” said a spokesman when asked. The team reached a speed of around 20 kilometers per hour.
The officials’ inspection revealed that the petrol-powered quad was not approved for public road traffic and that a class M driver’s license was required to drive it. An investigation was initiated against the parents.
