Jengen (dpa / lby) – A school bus driver is said to have turned around in Swabia with a double line and then fled from the police. As the police announced on Friday, the man turned around on Thursday on the federal road 12 near Jengen (Ostallgäu district), and the officers then followed him. The 59-year-old is said to have given way to a truck and fled from the police at up to 100 km/h in town. Shortly thereafter he stopped. However, he had shown himself unreasonable and had become verbally aggressive. The two seven-year-old schoolchildren in the van are said to have started crying. The man is now being investigated for endangering road traffic and suspected illegal car racing.
