Erfurt (dpa/th) – After a cheerful start to Thursday, people in Thuringia are facing a change in the weather from the evening. As reported by the German Weather Service, there are some wafts of fog and clouds over Thuringia in the morning, which will slowly clear up in the course of the morning. Around noon the sun comes out with a maximum temperature of up to 17 degrees.

According to the DWD, cloud fields that are becoming denser and thicker from the west are moving up on Friday night, bringing long-lasting showers with them. Temperatures drop to as low as 7 degrees at night. A moderate south-easterly wind is expected in the mountains.

Friday begins uncomfortable in Thuringia with lots of clouds and isolated rain showers, with temperatures around 19 degrees. In the mountains, fresh gusts from the south ensure somewhat more moderate temperatures between 12 and 15 degrees.
