Sandhausen (dpa / lsw) – Second division soccer team SV Sandhausen is worried about goalkeeper Patrick Drewes after moving into the round of 16 of the DFB Cup. The 29-year-old injured his right calf in the 10-9 penalty shoot-out against league rivals Karlsruher SC on Wednesday evening in extra time and was substituted shortly before the end of the game. “When he jumped off, he either suffered a strain or a torn muscle fiber,” said SVS trainer Alois Schwartz. An MRI scan on Thursday should now bring clarity.
