Lautertal (dpa / lhe) – A man fled after a raid on a bakery in the southern Hessian Lautertal without booty. The employee did not give him any money, but picked up the phone, the police in Darmstadt said on Wednesday. The previously unknown man then ran away. Previously, he had taken a knife offered for sale at the counter in his hand on Tuesday afternoon and asked the 37-year-old to hand over the daily income. The search for him was initially unsuccessful.
