Frankfurt (dpa / lhe) – A man with various right-wing extremist, unconstitutional symbols has been arrested in Frankfurt. The 53-year-old with an SS rune tattoo on the back of his hand carried a gas pistol and objects with unconstitutional signs on Saturday, a police spokesman in Frankfurt said on Sunday. Witnesses had previously reported that the man would openly display a firearm outside a supermarket. Another witness also reported on his Nazi tattoo. During the search, the police found other objects with unconstitutional signs on the man. According to the police spokesman, he does not have a firearms license, which would be necessary to carry a gas pistol.
The 53-year-old is now being investigated for violating the Weapons Act and using unconstitutional license plates. According to a police spokesman, he is already known to the police in the right-wing extremist context.
