The arrival of the fourth heat wave puts 26 provinces belonging to six autonomous communities at risk, reaching especially high temperatures in areas of the southern third and eastern half of the Peninsula, as well as in the Canary Islands.

Specifically, according to AEMET data, the notices, both yellow (risk) and orange (important risk for outdoor activity), are distributed throughout Andalusia (except Almería), Aragón, Burgos, Albacete, Cuenca, Catalonia, Madrid , Murcia, Navarra, Álava, La Rioja, Alicante, Valencia and the Canary Islands (except Lanzarote).

In addition, the passage of a front through the northwest of the peninsula will produce cloudy skies in Galicia and the western half of the Cantabrian Sea, with the possibility of light rain. Cloudy intervals are also expected in the rest of the extreme north of the peninsula, Catalonia and the Balearic Islands, with the possibility of a shower or weak and isolated storm in the Pyrenees.

The skies will be slightly cloudy with intervals of high clouds in the rest of the Peninsula, while in the Canary Islands fairly clear skies are expected, with some cloudy intervals and without ruling out showers or storms in Tenerife and Gran Canaria.

Daytime temperatures will experience a notable drop in the Cantabrian area, while they will rise in the southwest quadrant of the peninsula and in the Canary Islands, and with little change in the rest, as well as at night. In the case of the Canary Islands, temperatures may reach or exceed 34ºC in points in the interior south and west of all the islands, except Lanzarote.

The winds will blow from the west component in the western third of the peninsula, from the northeast in the Canary Islands, and variable in the rest.
