Schweinfurt (dpa / lby) – In Lower Franconia, a 33-year-old was critically injured in a fall in a production hall. The man was in Schweinfurt on a mobile lifting platform and fell several meters when a so-called gantry crane hit the lifting platform. The crane was operated by a 54-year-old colleague. As the police reported on Friday, the 33-year-old was taken to a hospital. Criminal police and trade inspectorate now want to clarify the cause of the accident. The accident happened on Wednesday afternoon.
