Nuremberg (dpa/lby) – For the first time in the club’s history, the soccer players of 1. FC Nuremberg are playing a home game in the large Max Morlock Stadium. As the club announced on Thursday, the “Club” women will play their round of 16 game in the DFB Cup against VfL Wolfsburg there.
“The cup game against Wolfsburg will be one of the biggest highlights of our careers for us. We want to enjoy the atmosphere in the stadium and hope for many fans and support. We are grateful to present ourselves on this stage,” said Nuremberg captain and goalkeeper Lea Paulick. The game will take place on November 20 (2:00 p.m.).
