Wiesau (dpa / lby) – Unknowns blew up an ATM in the Upper Palatinate district of Tirschenreuth and fled. Residents of the apartment building in Wiesau heard an explosion from the ground floor early Thursday morning, according to the Bavarian State Criminal Police Office (BLKA). According to initial findings, the strangers then fled in a dark car in the direction of the motorway. It was initially unclear how many it was. The BLKA has also not given any information on the amount of damage and the money stolen. The explosives are examined more closely at the Forensic Institute in Munich.
