2.8 million millionaires in France, a figure that has been increasing since 2021. Contrary to the global trend, which is seeing the number of millionaires drop, France is seeing its population of ultra-rich increase, as indicated by a report by UBS unveiled by Les Echos.

Now third in the world in number of millionaires, France has 25 more for the year 2022. Despite its accession to the podium, the country remains far behind China, which has 6.3 million millionaires, and of course the United States, at the top with 22.7 million.

However, according to the Swiss bank’s projections, global wealth is expected to grow by 38% over the coming years, reaching $629 trillion by 2027. For that same year, UBS says the planet will have 86 million of millionaires.
