Unlingen (dpa / lsw) – Two people were seriously injured in an accident on the federal highway 311 near Unlingen (Biberach district). A 40-year-old driver overlooked an oncoming small truck when turning, so that the vehicles collided head-on on Tuesday afternoon, the police said. The pickup truck spun off the roadway and rolled onto the passenger side. The 26-year-old driver was trapped, the fire brigade freed him. The 40-year-old’s car was thrown across the street as a result of the collision. Both drivers were taken to hospitals.
