Frankfurt/Main (dpa/lhe) – Buy a ticket, book a rental bike or order a minibus: the Rhein-Main-Verkehrsverbund (RMV) is presenting the new “RMVgo” app this Wednesday (10.30 a.m.). It should offer more functions than the previous application for smartphones, in the future it should also be possible to order on-demand vehicles – these are minibuses that take passengers in many municipalities to their destinations without a fixed timetable. According to the RMV, the previous app has been downloaded more than four million times since 2010. Since the beginning of the corona pandemic, digital sales channels have become even more important. The new app should be available in October.
