North Rhine-Westphalia: S-Bahn collides with objects on the tracks: investigations

Oberhausen (dpa / lnw) – An S-Bahn has collided with several objects – including a wooden bench and a metal tub – near Oberhausen. The collisions occurred on Saturday evening just behind the main train station in Oberhausen, the federal police said on Tuesday. The train was damaged, but around 180 passengers remained unharmed. The route had to be closed. The federal police began investigations into dangerous interventions in rail traffic. She assumes that the objects had been placed on the tracks.
