Munich (dpa / lby) – Bavaria’s Health Minister Klaus Holetschek (CSU) accuses the federal government of inconsistencies in dealing with Corona. “In the Corona policy, the Berlin traffic light flickers as erratically as a light organ in a mixture of brass band music and heavy metal. That unsettles the citizens. That’s why the Chancellor must finally stop the confusing activities of his two ministers!” Said Holetschek on Sunday in Munich.

The CSU politician referred to statements by Federal Minister of Justice Marco Buschmann (FDP) and Minister of Health Karl Lauterbach (SPD): “It is surprising in itself that the Federal Minister of Justice recommends that the federal states, if necessary, use the isolation recommendations of the Robert Koch Institute for relaxation plans (RKI). But if the Federal Minister of Health calls for a stricter course on the same weekend and warns the federal states not to wait too long to make masks compulsory for indoor areas, the chaos is perfect”.

Holetschek accused the federal government of having ignored important proposals from federal states such as Bavaria for months, such as the demand for clear guidelines for the states for possible new protective measures. The small coalition partner also has “the pants on” when it comes to other important issues. Health policy is now being made by Federal Finance Minister Christian Lindner (FDP) and not by the responsible department minister.
