Wallhausen/Halle (dpa/sa) – On a country road near Sangerhausen in the Mansfeld-Südharz district late on Friday evening, a motorist hit a young man dressed in dark clothing and seriously injured him. The 17-year-old was no longer able to avoid the driver on the L 151 near Wallhausen because he saw him too late, the police in Halle said on Saturday. The young man was hit by the side of the vehicle. He came with a rescue helicopter to a hospital in Halle, there was no danger to life, it said.
