Leipzig (dpa/sn) – Two residents were seriously injured in a fire in an apartment building in Leipzig. The fire broke out in an apartment at night for an unknown reason, the police said on Friday. The 54-year-old tenant had to be rescued through a window and was taken to hospital with serious injuries along with a 59-year-old man. All residents initially had to leave the house, but were able to return to their apartments during the course of the day. The police are investigating on suspicion of arson.
