Vogtsburg im Kaiserstuhl (dpa/lsw) – A dog discovered an unconscious craftsman in Vogtsburg im Kaiserstuhl and thus possibly prevented worse things from happening. The 55-year-old man suddenly fainted while painting in an excavation, the police in Breisach said on Friday. The craftsman’s colleagues would not have noticed anything about this emergency. Miniature Bull Terrier “Rudi” noticed the unconscious man while walking and led his mistress to the excavation pit – the dog’s owner then got help. The 55-year-old was given medical attention by the emergency doctor and rescue service so quickly after the incident on Wednesday, the police said.
