Demen (dpa/mv) – The noise of a leaf blower in Demen (Ludwigslust-Parchim) led to a weapon threat and a police operation. As a police spokesman said on Friday, an employee of a horticulture company was therefore threatened by a local resident with guns on Thursday. The noise of the professional vacuum cleaner was said to be too loud for the 29-year-old. Nobody got hurt.
According to previous investigations, the 29-year-old is said to have once fired an airgun out of the window of the apartment. The 54-year-old worker heard a loud bang. However, no projectile was found. After that, the angry man is said to have aimed such a gun at the worker, who felt threatened by it.
The police arrived and confiscated two airguns from the resident. They handcuffed the aggressive 29-year-old and had him blow into an alcohol meter, which is said to have shown more than two parts per thousand breath alcohol. The disrupter must now expect investigations into threats, insults and violations of the Weapons Act.
