Flöha/Chemnitz (dpa/sn) – A cyclist collided with a stroller in Flöha (central Saxony) and fell badly. The 18-year-old was taken to hospital by rescue workers with serious injuries, the police in Chemnitz said on Wednesday. According to previous knowledge, a previously unknown woman was walking on the street with a black buggy and a child on Tuesday afternoon when she apparently let go of the car for reasons that are not yet known. This rolled towards the cyclist, who could no longer avoid it. Several passers-by helped the fallen. The bike suffered damage of around 100 euros. The woman is being investigated for illegally leaving the scene of the accident. The police are looking for witnesses.
