Breitenworbis (dpa/th) – A 25-year-old truck driver was seriously injured in an accident on the Autobahn 38 in the direction of Leipzig. The man skidded on Tuesday afternoon in the Eichsfeld district near Breitenworbis and overturned on the right side of the vehicle, the police said. According to the information, the driver was able to free himself from the driver’s cab. The load, metal frames, had to be recovered and reloaded. According to police estimates, the property damage amounts to at least 50,000 euros.
