Bünde (dpa / lnw) – A truck involved in an accident in the Herford district led to the A30 between Bruchmühlen and Bünde being blocked in the direction of Hanover for hours. The truck loaded with bricks overturned on its side on Tuesday morning and lost its load on the road, police said. The vehicle probably skidded due to a burst tire, overturned and came to rest in two lanes. The 44-year-old driver suffered minor injuries in the accident, and an ambulance took him to the hospital. Traffic was initially diverted, but it was unclear at midday how long the closure should last.
