Duisburg (dpa / lnw) – The Lehmbruck Museum in Duisburg says it is showing the largest exhibition of the well-known British sculptor Antony Gormley in Germany to date. The 72-year-old Gormley is one of the great admirers of the Duisburg-born sculptor Wilhelm Lehmbruck (1881-1919), the museum said. Works by the artists, which are almost a hundred years apart, would enter into a dialogue with each other throughout the museum on more than 3000 square meters, announced museum director Söke Dinkla on Wednesday. The exhibition runs from September 23 to February 26 next year. Antony Gormley lives and works in London.
