Altenstadt an der Waldnaab (dpa/lby) – A car crashed into a truck and a crash barrier several times on the Autobahn 93 in the Upper Palatinate – the driver was seriously injured. The woman’s car skidded on Tuesday on the wet threading strip near Altenstadt an der Waldnaab (Neustadt an der Waldnaab district), the police said. A 46-year-old truck driver therefore braked hard to avoid an accident. The car then collided several times with the truck and the central barrier. The woman came seriously injured to a hospital. The 46-year-old was unharmed. The A93 was closed for one hour in the direction of Holledau.
