Röbel (dpa / mv) – Thieves have plundered a motor boat in the Mecklenburg Lake District. The 80 hp outboard motor and all electronic components and the bow anchor were stolen from him, a police spokeswoman said on Tuesday. The sports boat was seen driving on a peninsula in front of the port of Röbel on Saturday evening before it was towed into a port. The total damage is estimated at around 20,000 euros.
Investigations revealed that the motorboat, which was almost six meters long, was actually in a Müritz port in Röbel, but had disappeared from there. The owner of the boat, which was initially impounded, is from Rockstock County, as determined on Tuesday.
