Plauen (dpa/sn) – In Plauen, a 62-year-old was hit by a tram. The man did not notice the approaching tram when crossing the street on Monday, the police said on Tuesday morning. Although the 34-year-old tram driver initiated emergency braking, he was no longer able to prevent the collision on Monday morning. The 62-year-old then had to be taken to a hospital with serious injuries. The tram driver was also receiving medical treatment for shock.
