Heidenrod (dpa/lhe) – Two women in the Rheingau-Taunus district were seriously injured in a head-on collision between two cars. As the police announced on Wednesday, a 56-year-old came on a country road in Heidenrod with her car after a left turn on the oncoming lane for reasons that have not yet been clearly clarified. There her car collided head-on with the car of a 66-year-old. The two women were taken to hospitals with serious injuries. The L3031 was completely closed due to salvage work between the Heidenrod-Nauroth and Heidenrod-Langschied exits. The public prosecutor’s office has used an expert to reconstruct the course of the accident, it said.
