Nuremberg (dpa / lby) – After an accident on the A6, a driver left his car and fled. The officers near Nuremberg unsuccessfully searched for him with a helicopter, the police said on Friday. The car is said to have crashed into the lane divider on Thursday after changing lanes on the motorway junction and stopped. A witness saw two people near the car and called the police. When he turned around, the people had already disappeared. The police recovered the vehicle and are now investigating. A spokesman said it was unclear who was driving the car, and the owner had already been questioned.
